The 2025 Pastoral Presentation, held at the Cathedral of the Child Jesus in Pope Square, was a momentous occasion graced by distinguished clergy and faithful alike. Most Rev. George Tambala, Archbishop of Lilongwe, was the main celebrant, joined by Archbishop Alick Banda and Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Szamocki of the Torun Diocese in Poland. “The Church in Africa has come of age that we should look at ourselves,” said Archbishop Tambala in as he delivered an inspiring homily. “Let’s put together what we have and look at the needs of the Church and where these resources should go…the putting together is understanding the body of Christ, just like we are members of one body. We put these resources together so that we can strengthen this body.”
