Our Story

Founded in 2003 by the Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood, along with support from Catholic Religious Orders, including the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, Dominican Sisters, and St. Patrick’s Missionary Society, Our Lady’s Hospice was established in response to the escalating suffering experienced by those affected by AIDS. It was an essential complement to government hospitals, which were overwhelmed by the early 2000s.
